& there were coyotes in farnsworth park early in the morning, & LOLA [my golden retriever ] would chase them,actually just one,...sometimes beyond my sight.. I didn't think much of it... I'm from back east so I didn't know much about coyotes.. Then 1 day I was talking to another dog owner, an older fellow, & his eyes went WIDE when I told him about LOLA chasing coyotes ...& he said that's a coyote tactic. ..they get the dog to chase one back to a pack, & then the pack teams up on the dog... So I was more careful after that...
